James was amazing. He was early, set up and got the party started! His large knowledge of all kinds of music was a hit!! He was so very nice and accommodating...I would definitely recommend him and if I plan another event that requires music, in a heart beat I would reach out to James. Musician for the win
James was so helpful throughout the whole wedding! He was so nice & went out of his way to run things smoothly. He even had a flat tire & still came to our event! He kept people dancing & remembered many song requests we had put in!

Amazing singer and entertainer
I booked James for my husband's 50th birthday at our home, and sent him a list of my husband's favorite songs. James was super communicative and accomodating. He came with his speaker/microphone (we have a piano already) and played for 2 hours. It was amazing! He has a fantastic voice, and got all our friends singing to the music. We would definitely book him again, it was such a fun evening!!

Exceptional Singing Pianist
What a wonderful experience! James has been very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process. He is a versed pianist with an impressive repertoire. I hired him for a house party with guests in their 30s and 40s all of whom thoroughly enjoyed his music and asked where can one find such a talented pianist. He read us well, started with background piano music while guests arrived so we can carry our conversations and later switched to different voice and piano covers, from his excelent Elton John covers to very upbeat songs that kept us dancing. He even accommodated requests on the spot. Will definitely hire him again!
BEST DJ EVER!
James was an absolute joy to have as a karaoke DJ/piano player/singer at my birthday party! He played the best music, orchestrated the karaoke, sang, and played piano and my guests loved him. His set-up is amazing and you can sing just about any song you like. He knows all of the words and tunes to the songs so he can help out when the singers get a bit off! I would absolutely recommend him for your party and am already thinking about having another party just so he can be there!

Production, Audio Engineering and Musical Genius
I've used James Michael Day, Mikey Day, to record, produce, sing and mix over twenty songs to date. He is fantastic. Very professional, he will listen as to where your going with a song and then will work together with you to come up with something quite lovely. Check out the music of the Eclectic Songwriters Society (ESS) at their website, Spotify, Youtube and more to hear his work. Considering I write music for a hobby (not really professional), it is amazing what he can do for just a simple song. I recommend him for Production, Audio Engineering, Singing, Musicianship and just support. He's a great friend now. Go Sharks!
James Michael Day was a blessing!
I was looking for a singing pianist to perform at my mother’s Catholic funeral. I had been referred to the two choirs at the church but no one returned my call. Thank God for GigSalad because without them I would have never found James Michel Day. The church is very strict about what type of music can be performed during a service, it had to be only Christian music. and he was very helpful in suggesting song selections. He showed up an hour early and brought his own sound equipment. Thank God he did because the maintenance person responsible for setting up the sound system called in sick. The church office person did not know anything and she got someone else who only set up the priest's microphone but not the musician. James was dressed professionally in a dark suit and he played beautifully. Everyone was impressed and said it was one of the most beautiful services they had ever attended. This could not have been accomplished without James Michel Day and I'm grateful my mom had a beautiful service.

Um, can't I rate someone 10 stars?? I can't recommend James enough. His talent is off the charts. He brought much needed life to our party. When I was checking out his demo videos, I wasn't convinced his profile was real, he was that good. But I was not disappointed and neither were my guests. Everyone raved about "the piano player!" He can play any genre of music and takes all requests. There didn't seem to be anything he couldn't play! If you want a fun, friendly, professional, punctual, amazingly talented musician to liven up your gathering, hire James!!
